Taking the model building to extremes….

Derek Woodward, retired carpenter, has built a fantastic railway station for his Stephenson’s Rocket. Based on Corfe Castle railway station in Swanage, this model is 1m by 1.2m, is fully wired for illuminations but there is lots more still to be done. Derek is planning a bit more landscaping in front, a foot bridge and various other details – more photos to be shared following his progress! We are particularly impressed by the tender and carriage which look perfect behind the engine, his attention to detail is just lovely.
